The thread is strong and thin, making it ideal for where you need flat, crisp seams. Whist this thread is ideal for making smocked and heirloom children’s clothes, this thread is also ideal for needle turn applique, English paper piecing quilts, machine applique and subtle quilting and topstitching. Will machine wash in low temperatures of no more than 60C and can tolerate a cool tumble dry. 80/12 Microtex/Sharp, Universal, quilting or denim needles (50wt in the bobbin) are recommended.
