This versatile and one of a kind trademarked Spechler Vogel 58″ Imperial wide gingham is 65% polyester and 35% combed cotton. Checks are 1/8″ wide. Soft to the touch with a nice drape and, being wrinkle resistant it is suitable for shirts/blouses, dresses/skirts, children’s and baby’s clothes, napery and more. It can be pleated for smocking either by machine or by hand. This fabric is machine washable. Available in 5 colours.
Perfect for a little smocked dress or rompers, this fabric is also wonderful for making piping and trims to compliment Liberty of London or pique fabrics.
Best thread match for this fabric is Mettler 4000 or Aurifil 2692.
